Thrombophob Ointment
Thrombophob Ointment is an Anticoagulant, used as a topical treatment for thrombophlebitis (swelling of a vein due to blood clot), superficial thrombosis, acute tendovaginitis, and superficial bruises and for acceleration of absorption of hematoma. It contains Heparin Sodium and Benzyl Nicotinate as active ingredient.
Heparin Sodium is an Anticoagulant that inhibits clot formation, promotes the breakdown of clots, and helps the absorption of superficial micro clots. Benzyl nicotinate works by increasing the blood flow and increasing the local absorption of heparin. Thus, it promotes healing and relieves pain.
